New windows and doors improve comfort, cut energy bills and add long-term value to your home. Hale Windows Thousand Oaks pairs proven product lines with our own installing crews for lasting performance - and a price we put in writing.
Choose your installer
The unit is half the job - the install is the other half. Our own background-checked crews measure, set, seal and insulate every opening, and they know the lines we quote inside and out because they install them every week.

Meet the Thousand Oaks Team Behind Hale Windows Thousand Oaks
We’re a local crew of window and door specialists who have spent years working on homes across Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Westlake Village, and the Conejo Valley. Some of us came up through carpentry, others through glazing and millwork, and a few started by hauling old sashes out of tract homes in the summer heat. What keeps us together is simple: we show up on time, we tell you the truth about what’s in the wall, and we don’t leave until the job measures right. Spencer Odell runs the operation, but the people below are the ones you’ll actually see at your door.
Our People
Marcus R. – Lead Technician
Marcus has been setting windows and hanging doors in Ventura County since 2011, and he has spent the last nine of those years with our team. He holds certifications in PGT and CGI installation methods, which matters a lot when a homeowner in Thousand Oaks wants impact-rated glass that has to pass inspection the first time. Marcus is the person we send when a retrofit turns into a stucco repair job mid-project, because he’s done enough of them to already know what’s behind the paper. He keeps a small notebook in his truck with the exact trim measurements from every house he has worked on, which has settled more than one argument with a supply house.
Lena T. – Senior Installer
Lena started in glazing and spent five years working with commercial storefront systems before moving to residential work, which means her caulking lines look like they were done with a ruler. She’s our lead on Therma-Tru front door replacements and has an encyclopedic memory for hinge setbacks and sill pan details that most installers never think about until water shows up. Lena grew up in Simi Valley and knows the microclimates here well enough to warn a homeowner when a west-facing wall in the Dos Vientos area is going to take more wind load than they assumed. She keeps a pair of hearing protection earmuffs in her bag for the homeowner’s dog, because she has a shepherd mix at home who hates the saw noise too.
Diego C. – Service Coordinator
Diego is the voice most Thousand Oaks customers hear when they call (805) 309-1848. He schedules every visit, confirms the technician’s name and photo before dispatch so you know who is showing up, and follows up after the job to make sure the work actually solved the problem. Before joining us, Diego worked in construction supply logistics, so he has a rare ability to tell you exactly when the ES Windows order will arrive and what that means for your install date. He has lived in Thousand Oaks for over a decade and can recommend a decent lunch spot near any neighborhood we work in, which the crew appreciates more than they admit.
Elias D. – Apprentice Installer
Elias is three years into his apprenticeship and already runs a clean miter saw station. He works alongside Marcus and Lena on window replacements, learning how to flash openings properly and how to set glass without stressing the frame. Elias grew up in Moorpark and joined us after finishing a construction technology program at Moorpark College, where his instructors actually called us to recommend him. He’s the one you’ll see tarping off furniture and vacuuming the floor at the end of the day, and he genuinely likes doing it right. On the weekends, he rebuilds classic BMX bikes, which is probably why he’s so fussy about torque specs.
One Standard, Every Job
We don’t have a “good crew” and a “backup crew.” Every person on this page works under the same rules Spencer Odell set when he started Hale Windows Thousand Oaks: a written price is in your hands before any work begins, and a written guarantee comes with every repair. If a repair fails, the second visit is free. That’s not dependent on which technician shows up. It’s the standard across every job we run in Thousand Oaks and the surrounding Conejo Valley.
The Threshold Standard applies to all of us, including Spencer. Every technician is background-checked, identity-verified, uniformed, and photo-badged. Before we arrive, you get the person’s name and photo sent to you. You don’t open the door wondering who is standing there. You already know. And because we work across eight specific product lines – PGT, CGI, CWS, ES Windows, ECO Window Systems, Mr-Glass, Therma-Tru, and ViewLux – the person at your house actually knows the product we’re installing, not just how to swing a hammer near it.
What the 365-Day Done Right Promise means for you
If the work is not right, Hale makes it right. No argument, no chasing a subcontractor, no “that’s normal settling.” You call Diego, you describe the problem, and we send someone back. The promise is stamped on every job, and it covers the entire crew you’ve just read about.
Call (805) 309-1848 to talk to a real person and schedule your free estimate. We’ll tell you who is coming to your house before they arrive.
